Dr. Nadia Rahman is a licensed therapeutic and optometric glaucoma specialist that specializes in contact lens fitting, LASIK, and cataract co-management. As a native of north Houston, she graduated from Klein High School and pursued her undergraduate studies in psychology and biology at University of Houston. In 2005, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Upon graduation, Dr. Rahman has gained a wide range of experience working in various corporate and private practice settings across the country, including Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, an Cleveland, OH. She recently moved back home to Texas and has joined our practice.
In her spare time, Dr. Rahman enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She also likes to play games, watch movies, and is learning how to play the piano. Dr. Rahman is passionate about giving back to her community and regularly dedicates time to volunteer at schools and local non-profit organizations. She is also fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Spanish.
Best known for her compassionate nature, Dr. Rahman stops at no end to ensure her patients receive the best quality of care possible by remaining contactable and available around the clock. She provides the best care and educating her patients. Seeing the smile that lights up a patient’s face when they can finally see is one of her favorite and most fulfilling parts of what she does.
